Blind Assistive Devices
Blind Assistive Devices
This device is battery free and uses a photocell to directly drive a beeper. Like everyone, blind folk should wear flashing lights at night to cross the street. But these lights have several blinking and flashing modes. There is no tactile feedback so a non-sighted person cannot know if their light is on.
If you hold the light up to the “Safety Dancer” it beeps when the light is on.
This device as of May 15, 2020 is declared by me, the inventor as Open Source and cannot be patented. It’s a gift to the blind community.
